Meet Nithin, the proud owner of Ballers, who embarked on his pickleball journey in January 2023. Passionate about this rapidly growing sport, he felt an instant connection with the game that goes beyond the court. I am a mechanical engineer during the day . 

Off the court, I'm not just a pickleball aficionado; but also a self-proclaimed foodie, I explore the local food and bar scene. Whether it's trendy eateries or hidden gems, I like to try everything.

When it comes to sports, I am an unwavering fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and football in general. 

But my life isn't solely about sports and laughter. I harbor a serious passion for pickleball, a game that has become a significant part of my life since 2023.

Steve Sack is a co-owner of Dink Dynasty with Michele Kowalkowski and Nick Hernandez.  He also owns and operates ReImagine Recreation, the operating partner of United Wholesale Mortgage that runs the UWM Sports Complex, home to two indoor turf fields and 16 pickleball courts.  At the complex, we offer drop-in play, court reservations and a number of clinics and lessons.  He is also the Founder and Director of Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy, a local volleyball club, serving over 1,500 players.   

Steve lives in West Bloomfield with his wife Jenny and their three dogs. They have three adult children, Jacob, John and Megan.

Kyle Wilhelm and his wife Paige began their pickleball journey at the start of 2023. They joined a beginners ladder league in a middle school gym and quickly caught the bug. Pickleball became a way to meet new people, spend time together, and scratch the competitive itch through tournaments. They started visiting new courts, with a goal to visit every location at least once. That became a theme in their pickleball journey. Try everything at least once. They tried everything pickleball related, and in the process developed an unhealthy desire to try (and many times buy) every pickleball paddle they saw. In the spirit of trying everything pickleball related, Kyle and Paige signed up for DPL as players and fell in love with the league. So, the next logical step was to try DPL as an owner. 

Alexandra is the co-owner of “Home Court Advantage” along with Lucia White. She has been playing pickleball since 2021. She love playing in drop-ins, leagues and tournaments with her mixed partner. She loves meeting new people while being competitive. Outside of pickleball she loves to hang out with her friends and family, her dog Breslin, playing volleyball and traveling. 

Beth Mosshart has been playing pickleball since about 2007.  She loves the community that pickleball has created in our area and the connection it brings no matter where you travel.  She loves to play in ladders and leagues and mixers and drop in…ok, she just loves to play.  Owning a team in the DPL is one more different and fun way to experience the game, the thrill of competition, and to expand her friends/partners/opponentsnetwork.

Eddie and Webby have been best friends since high school.   After Eddie moved from Michigan to Florida, Eddie and Webby decided to start making YouTube content and doing a podcast together as a way to "hang out" from across the country.   They originally made content about technology and craft beer (reviews, vlogs and tutorial videos).  They both ended up getting bit by the "pickleball bug" and started making video content about pickleball and started talking about pickleball a little bit here and there during their podcast episodes.  Within a couple years, they mostly focused on pickleball content and eventually decided to make their YouTube channel and podcast exclusively about pickleball.   

Hello, my name is Anne August the owner of the Pickleball Labs . If you heard the name Anne August, you  might think she is a Famous Author or an Actress . I assure you I am not any of those .My life is pretty ordinary . I am a wife and mother and a pickleball player. My personality changes as soon as my feet hit the court . I am  very comptative , which is heard  through out the courts with  what they call Potty mouth words.  I am not proud of  this, but as stated I am comptative and get angry at myself . Off the court , I am  funny, and easy going . I also enjoy being with my family ,friends and  dog . I also love  the water and boating . I am also working which is bad for the ball , because I take all my work stress and hit the ball too hard . I am counting the days until ,I never have to talk to a member, worry about case loads or touch a keyboard again . I can't wait to play in those ladders offered during the day . That is me in a nutshell . I want to say I am very proud of my Pickleball labs .They are decicated and work hard . We had a set back by loosing one of our players. The team has  embraced the sub and we will continue to rise.   I will end with a challenge, I challenge anybody to a Brady Bunch or Friends Triva contest . I know I would win this one .

Brett is the competitive and outgoing owner of the The Dill Pickles. Brett has been playing for 7 years and is a first-time owner and player in the Detroit Pickleball League. Avid fan of the Lions, University of Michigan Football and enjoys bowling, basketball, and golf. Brett currently resides in Lake Orion. “Go Dill Pickles”
